Privacy Policy

Last updated June 1, 2025. This policy explains what data Docs API collects in connection with the Services, how we use it, and the choices you have.

1. Data we collect #

We collect the information you provide when you create an account, such as your name, email address, and organization. When you call the API, we process request metadata — including timestamps, IP addresses, and API key identifiers — to operate, secure, and improve the Services.

2. How we use data #

  • To provide, maintain, and improve the Services.
  • To authenticate requests and protect against abuse and fraud.
  • To communicate with you about your account, including service notices.
  • To comply with legal obligations.

3. Cookies #

The documentation site uses no tracking cookies. Your theme preference (light or dark) is stored locally in your browser using localStorage and never leaves your device. The Dashboard uses a strictly necessary session cookie to keep you signed in.

4. Data sharing #

We do not sell your personal data. We share data only with service providers who process it on our behalf under contract, or when required by law. These providers are bound by confidentiality and data-protection obligations.

5. Data retention #

We retain account information for as long as your account is active and for a reasonable period afterward to comply with legal and operational requirements. Request logs are retained for a limited window and then deleted or anonymized.

6. Security #

We protect data in transit with TLS and at rest with industry-standard encryption. Access to production systems is restricted and audited. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Your rights #

Depending on your location, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data. To exercise these rights, contact us at support@docs.vexart.net and we will respond within the period required by applicable law.

8. Contact #

For privacy questions or requests, email support@docs.vexart.net.
