Terms of Service

Last updated June 1, 2025. These terms govern your access to and use of the Docs API API and related developer services (the "Services").

1. Acceptance of terms #

By creating an account or making a request to the Services, you agree to be bound by these terms. If you are using the Services on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization, and "you" refers to that organization.

2. Accounts & API keys #

You are responsible for safeguarding the API keys associated with your account and for all activity that occurs under your keys. You agree to keep secret keys confidential and to notify us promptly at support@docs.vexart.net of any unauthorized use. We may rotate or revoke keys that we reasonably believe have been compromised.

3. Acceptable use #

You agree not to misuse the Services. In particular, you will not:

  • Use the Services to violate any applicable law or regulation.
  • Probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of any system without authorization.
  • Attempt to exceed published rate limits or otherwise interfere with the operation of the Services.
  • Resell or sublicense access to the Services without our written consent.

4. Service availability #

We strive to keep the Services available and performant, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Services at any time. Scheduled maintenance and incidents are published on our status page.

5. Disclaimer of warranties #

The Services are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. Your use of the Services is at your own risk.

6. Limitation of liability #

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Docs API will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, arising from your use of the Services.

7. Changes to these terms #

We may revise these terms from time to time. The most current version will always be posted on this page. Material changes will be communicated through the Dashboard or by email. Continued use of the Services after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
